Publishing principles

How we build, test, and stand behind what you see on PDFviz.

    Free and runs in your browser

    Every tool on this site is free to use, with no sign-up and no daily limits. The tools also run inside your browser, which means when you drop a file in, it stays on your device. We have no server that could receive your files, even if we wanted one.

  • No. 02

    We test before we publish

    Every guide and how-to is checked against the actual tool before it goes live. If something changes, breaks, or you spot an error, email [email protected] and we fix it. Substantial corrections get a visible updated date. Small typos just get fixed.

  • No. 03

    We do not look at your files

    Not as a promise, but as a design: your files never leave your device, so we have nothing to look at. We do collect anonymous analytics about which tools are popular, but never about the documents you work with.

    Ads exist, editorial does not bend

    PDFviz is supported by display advertising. Advertisers have no say in what we publish, how we rank tools, or which articles we write. If we ever publish sponsored content, it will be clearly labelled as sponsored.
