How to organize PDF pages in your browser

  1. Choose the PDF

    Press Choose a PDF, or drop the file on the page. The PDF is read and its page previews are drawn in this tab.

  2. Set the page order

    Drag a page, use its arrow buttons, or select several pages to keep or delete together. Undo and Redo step through page changes; Reset pages restores the source order and can also be undone.

  3. Choose one PDF or separate files

    One PDF keeps the order shown in a single output file. Separate PDFs creates one PDF per kept page and puts the checked files in one ZIP download.

  4. Read the verification, then download

    Every output PDF is opened again. Its page size and selectable text are compared with the matching source page before the download appears. A result that fails is not offered.

Why are reordering, deleting and splitting on one page?

These three jobs are the same operation seen from different sides. Reordering keeps every page and changes the sequence. Deleting keeps a subset in the same sequence. Splitting keeps a subset and writes each kept page to its own file instead of one. That is why they sit on one page here rather than behind three separate tools. Rearranging pages here is free, with no account needed.

Work visually: every page is drawn as a thumbnail, and every thumbnail has move-left, move-right and delete buttons as well as a drag handle, so a pointer is never the only way in. Choose One PDF for a single output, or Separate PDFs to get one file per page packed into a single ZIP download. What this page does not do: it cannot rotate pages, and bookmarks, named links and interactive form fields may not carry into the output, because pages are copied one at a time.

Real-world use cases for organizing PDF pages

Reordering a scanned document. A scanner fed pages out of order. Drag the thumbnails into the right sequence, then download. Each drawn thumbnail stays visible while you work, and Undo and Redo step through each change.

Assembling a report from mixed sources. Combine pages from different PDFs into one file by merging first with Merge PDF, then organizing the combined pages into the right order here. Delete any pages that do not belong in the final document.

Splitting a multi-part document. A single PDF contains sections that need to go to different people. Use Separate PDFs to create one file per page, or use Split PDF for range-based splitting. Each output is verified before download.

Extracting specific pages. Select the pages you need and press Keep only selected. For more targeted extraction with source-order preservation, use Extract PDF pages. After organizing, Compress PDF can shrink the result for email, and Rotate PDF can fix sideways pages.

Does organizing pages upload my PDF?
No. Page previews, changes, verification and downloads all run in this browser tab during the session. The work itself transmits no file content; the only exception is the optional problem report, which attaches a file only when you tick the box. No account is required.
Can I reorder pages with the keyboard?
Yes. Every page has move-left, move-right and delete buttons. Dragging is an additional pointer shortcut, not the only way to set the order. The tool is fully usable without a mouse or trackpad.
How do I extract several pages from a PDF?
Select the pages you want and press Keep only selected. Leave One PDF selected to download those pages as one PDF, in the order shown. For preserving source order without reordering, use Extract PDF pages instead.
How does splitting work from this page?
Choose Separate PDFs. Each kept page becomes one PDF, and the checked PDFs are packed into one ZIP download. For range-based splitting instead of one-file-per-page, use Split PDF.
Does page text stay selectable after reordering?
Yes. Pages are copied, not turned into pictures. Every produced PDF is opened again and its selectable text is compared with the matching source page. A result that loses text is not offered for download.
What does the page verification check cover?
It checks that every kept page opens in the chosen order, keeps its page size, and that the selectable text passes the retention check. A failed result is not offered for download.
Can I rotate a page here?
No. This page changes page order, removes pages and splits a file. Use Rotate and crop to turn pages the right way up, then bring the result back here if you also need to reorder it.
What happens to bookmarks and form fields when I organize pages?
Pages are copied one at a time, so bookmarks, named links and interactive form fields may not carry into the output. The pages themselves, their sizes and their selectable text are checked and reported. For flattening form fields before organizing, use Flatten PDF.
